Fast-food retailer Subway has announced plans to open 51 new stores on both sides of the Irish border, creating just over 400 new jobs in the process.
According to the company, the new stores are necessary to cater for ‘customer demand’.
Subway intends to have 3,000 outlets open across Ireland and the UK by 2020.
