Johnny Ryan, father of Kilkenny hurling team captain’s Lester Ryan, sadly lost his life in a farm accident today.
The incident happened at the family farm in Clara, near Bennettsbridge, Co Kilkenny.
Mr. Ryan died when a tractor rolled back suddenly after he stepped out of it, crushing him.
