Ferry service will return to the Liffey after more than 30 years

The River Liffey will soon see the return of the historic Number 11 ferry, after more than 30 years since its last sailing.

The ferry, which was decommissioned back in 1984 when the East Link bridge opened, will take to the water again on February 11.

The boat will take passengers from the 3Arena to Sir John Rogerson’s Quay, MV Cill Airne at North Wall Quay, and back.

The service will run from 7am to 7pm, Monday to Friday.
