The Fianna Fáil party have revealed today that they are currently drawing on proposals that would pave the way for an United Ireland.
The news of the strategy was announced this morning when party leader Micheál Martin told the The Irish Times he fully believes a united Ireland is a possible, but stressed serious preparation would be needed in order for it to happen.
It is understood the party plan to unveil a 12 point plan in the coming months ahead which would outline details on how to strengthen links between the two regions in advance of the change.
