A new opinion poll shows a significant rise in support for Fianna Fail. This is the first time the party has seen any substantial gain in about a year.
The poll also shows a decrease for Fine Gael, and a slight gain for Labour.
Popular support for Fine Gael stands at 24pc, which means three points less since May. Fianna Fail has risen to 21pc, which is a four point increase. Sinn Fein meanwhile drops one point down to 19pc, and Labour gains one point, standing at single digits still, at 9pc.
