A Fianna Fáil Senator has waged war on Dublin’s seagulls, saying they have “lost the run of themselves”.
Senator Ned O’Sullivan isn’t up for taking any rubbish from the raucous birds. He’s accused them of attacking young children in the city centre.
On the upside, the Senator said that be doesn’t have a problem with pigeons. Even so, there isn’t much hope of anything being done about the seagull problem now that the Dail is gone on holidays until September so it looks like they’ll have a free run of the city’s streets.
