Finally it appears that summer is en route! After what can only be described as one of the worst winters in decades, summer 2018 is about to knock on the door.
Met Eireann is forecasting a week or so of glorious, summer-like weather, with temperatures ‘above normal’.
A mass of warm air is currently moving towards British shores, including the Emerald Isle, so it’s likely to reach Ireland too, bringing the thermometer up to about 20C or just beyond from Sunday onwards.
The weather will remain rather unsettled in the run up to the weekend though, with mild but wet conditions predominant.
