Storms Ophelia and Brian brought misery and devastation to Ireland, causing damage and death.
The worst seems to have now passed, as settled conditions will be predominant over the next two days at least.
Forecasters’ say today (Wednesday), will be a mostly dry and sunny day, with just some passing showers in the north. Thursday will remain dry, but cloud cover will keep the sun hidden from view most of the day.
