Firefighters battling a major blaze at one of Cork’s oldest pubs




According to reports this evening firefighters in Mallow are battling a major blaze at one of Cork’s oldest pubs.

It is understood a number of units from Mallow fire brigade have been battling the fire which broke out at 6pm at the Inn which was established in 1856.

The Roundabout Inn on the roundabout on Mallow’s bypass road is thought to be one of the mot respects pub and restaurant in Munster.

Thankfully there have been no reported causalities or injuries at this time.
