It all kicked off on social media last night after Olly Murs makes an absolute bags of announcing who got kicked off in last night’s show.
Murs mistakenly told Monica that she had been axed as he appeared to get the tally of the judges’ votes wrong.
After profusely, the former X Factor runner-up and chart-topper couldn’t hide his obvious embarrassment at such a monumental gaffe – something that saw him receive thousands of unhappy messages on Facebook and Twitter.
Standing back as Anton and Monica awaited the decision of the public, Olly looked sheepish as he awkwardly crossed his hands and stood still pulling a face.
But following a tense few minutes, where both contestants hugged each other, Monica was revealed to have the least amounts of votes from the public.
