Irish emigrants who have since returned home from Australia could be very well be entitled to tax refund.

According to The Irish Mirror newspaper, those who worked in Australia between 2008 and 2016 could be entitled to a refund in the region of €1,500.

However the paper who quotes Taxback.com say those who wish to avail of the refund most act fast as Australia’s tax return deadline ends today the 30th of June.

The reminder comes as the vast majority of former emigrants are unaware that they can apply for a tax refund.
