Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has reportedly left hospital and is recovering at home following brain surgery.
According to The Sun newspaper, the legendary manager was released from hospital this week and his since returned home were he will be looked after by his family.
It is believed the 76 year old Scotsman is doing well, with a source telling the paper “Sir Alex is back on his feet’ and that the prognosis for his health is ‘extremely promising’.
The news of Ferguson’s improving health will come as a relief to the former manager’s family and friends who were given a major scare last month when the former United boss was admitted to Salford Royal Hospital, with a brain haemorrhage.
