The leader of the DUP party Arlene Foster has asked members 9f LGBT Community to respect her views on regards to Gay marriage.
Ms Foster who was speaking at PinkNews reception at Stormont, on Thursday, asked the onlooking forum that members of their community respect her views even though they might not agree with them.
In a series of events Ms Foster is due to attend, the DUP leader claimed that her views should be respected.
Although she and her party have been accused of making remarks towards the LGBT Community in the past, Ms Foster reiterated that although her comments will not be acknowledged by everyone, she did state that her own personal views on the subject does not mean she doesn’t respect the LGBT Community.
Ms Foster’s comments come as the North have once again been urged to change its laws in regards to same sex marriage.
