Gardaí have arrested four people following the seizure of drugs worth an estimated €300,000 in counties Meath and Louth.
It is believed Gardaí seized around 13 kilos of cannabis herb when they stopped a number of vehicles near Ashbourne Co Meath yesterday afternoon.
Meanwhile a further 1.5 kilos of cannabis herb was recovered, along with a quantity of cocaine during a search of a premises in Drogheda Co Louth.
Gardaí say three men, aged in their 20s, 30s and 50s and a woman in her 50s have all been arrested and are currently being detained under drug trafficking legislation at Finglas and Drogheda Garda Stations.
