Gardaí have confirmed that four people have been arrested on suspicion of funding international terrorists, followimg a series of searches across Dublin.
It is understood that that three women aged in their 30s, 40s, and 60s were arrested during the search operations, whilst a mam aged in his 40s was also arrested.
Gardai say the operation was carried out by officers from the Special Detective Unit, the Garda National Economic Crime Bureau and Security and Intelligence unit.
They added that seized a number of items during the search including documents, cash and electronic equipment.
Those arrested are currently being detained at Garda Stations across Dublin.
