The working week could become shorter in years to come as the country’s largest public union is looking at ways to change full-time employment.
According to RTÉ News, Fórsa are calling on a national debate on how the working week should be in the coming future.
The union claims that the working week should be shortened to four days as it would improve overall productivity amongst ordinary workers.
Fórsa who held a conference on Thursday say national debate on the topic should be held as it would benefit ordinary workers given technological advances in recent years.
