Let’s face it, we all check Facebook every morning when we wake up, it’s literally one of the first things everyone does at this stage.

But it appears that Facebook is now rapidly becoming just “another part of life”, as one US study claims.

The study conducted in UCLA claims that Facebook users regularly check their account even if they have no notifications on their phone.

Scrolling through the newsfeed, liking photos and reading news articles (Like The Liberal) are the top three tendencies for users.

Time spent on the world’s biggest social media network varies, but in general we’re on it 1.5 hours a day.

Its user base is still growing. Mark Zuckerberg’s idea of connecting the world is definitely working, Facebook has 1.3 billion users a month now.

The study concluded that Facebook won’t be replaced, younger users who use Snapchat and Instagram invariably come back to Facebook when they get older, the survey found, while Facebook’s status feature was found to be their most powerful tool completely blowing Twitter’s status tool out of the water.

Long live King Facebook!
