The newly released convicted drug mule Michaella McCollum has been tipped to make an appearance in the next installment of Celebrity Big Brother.
The Irish woman who was recently released from prison, has been given 7/1 odds to appear in the Channel 5 show by bookmaker Paddy Power. Ms McCollum 23, could be set for a prolonged media coverage as the bookmaker believe she will be snapped up by one of the major TV stations in the UK to appear in a reality TV series. Paddy Power are also giving 10/1 odds of Ms McCollum appearing on Come Dine With Me, whilst they place her at 16/1 to appear in the I’m A Celeb jungle.
The Irish bookmaker are also taking bets on who could play Michaella in a big screen outing of her extraordinary story, with Saoirse Ronan being installed as the clear favourite at 8/1, followed by Oscar winner Brie Larson at 10/1. According to Paddy Power spokesman Féilim Mac An Iomaire: “Michaella has gone from slammer to glamour following her release and we very much doubt that we’ve seen the last of her on our screens.”
