Fuel costs at their highest in three years

Fuel cost at the pumps are at their highest since 2015, a new report has highlighted.

A litre of unleaded costs an average of 141c, which marks a rise of almost 3c since the average cost in April. Equally, a litre of diesel has risen from 127c to 131c.

There are calls on the Government now to reconsider the taxes imposed on fuel during the recession.
