There could be further strike action ahead as Union members at Bus Eireann have revealed that industrial action is all but inevitable.
The prospect of strike action comes after management at the company recently revealed a number of cost cutting measures in order to save the company.
It is understood that staff are angry and disappointed at the fact management are forging ahead with plans to implement 10% pay cuts in three weeks time.
Meanwhile staff are contesting the decision claiming that all it’s members should receive a 21% pay increase rather than receive a number unfair imposed cuts.
A spokesperson for Union members said that they will not take the decision lying down.
