Today sees the first Presidential debate between the prospective candidates for the Aras in November.
Businessman, Dragon’s Den entrepreneur and Presidential candidate Sean Gallagher will not participate in the first Presidential debate on Thursday because Higgins won’t be there.
A representative for Higgins has said that a prior engagement meant that he couldn’t participate in the first Presidential debate on today at 1pm on RTE Radio One.
Gallagher has said that he thinks Higgins should be there for all debates but it’s understood that both himself and Higgins will be at the televised debate next week on RTE One.
