Gardai are continuing their investigations this morning following the discovery of a dead body in Dublin on Sunday evening.
It is understood the investigation comes after a 20-year-old man was reportedly found dead with an apparent gunshot wound to the chest.
His body was discovered by a relative in an upstairs bedroom of a house in Woodville Avenue.
It is not immediately clear whether the wound was self-inflicted, of if the young man fell victim to foul play.
Gardai say a post-mortem examination is due to take place later this morning.
