Drogheda gardai are investigating this morning the shooting of a 34-yr-old man in the Co. Louth town last night.
It’s understood they were called to a scene on a halting site on the Cement Road where they found a man with a gunshot wound.
He was rushed to the nearby Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital where his condition is deacribed as stable.
Gardai say they’ve launched an investigation into the shooting.
