Gardaí in Co Westmeath have launched an investigation following a robbery at a jewelers in Athlone 9n Friday evening.
It is believed the investigation comes after a group broke into a jewelery store at a local shopping centre.
Gardai say the group made off with a large quantity of items, they are also appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the robbery to come forward.
