Gardaí in Dublin have launched an investigation after the body of a man aged in his 50s was found in his home in Tyrrelstown on Sunday.
It is understood the investigation comes after Gardai were alerted to an incident which occurred in Mount Eustace at approximately 4.30pm on Sunday.
Gardaí say there is currently a technical examination taking place at the house and the man’s body has since been removed to the City Morgue in Whitehall.
It is expected a post mortem will take place later today.
