Gardaí in Dublin have launched an investigation after a man had part of his ear severed off during an altercation at house in the city early this morning.
It is understood the man who has undergone emergency surgery at Dublin’s St James’s Hospital, had part of his ear cut off during the row which occurred at Whitefrair Gardens at approximately 9.50pm this morning.
Gardaí from Kevin Street Garda Station say the man who is aged in his 40s is currently in stable condition in hospital.
They have also issued an appeal for witnesses to come forward and contact them.
