Gardaí in North Dublin have begun an investigation after a man aged in his 30s was attacked and mugged whilst walking in Malahide, on Monday.
It is understood the man was attacked by two men whilst he was walking by Bisset Strand at approximatley 12am in on Monday morning.
The man who recieved hospital treatment after sustaining minor injuries in the attack, also had his mobile phone and wallet robbed during the attack.
Gardaí investigating the incident say they are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward and contact them.
