Gardai in Dublin have launched an investigation after the body of a man was recovered from the Grand Canal on Thursday afternoon.
The investigation comes after the man who has yet to be identified was discovered in the water at Percy Place Dublin 4.
Although the cause of the man’s death has yet be determined, Gardai say the man’s body has since been transferred to Dublin City Morgue.
It is expected a post-mortem examination will take place later today.
