Gardai in Co Offaly have begun an investigation after the body of man aged in his 30s was found in a house in Edenderry on Tuesday.
Although the official cause of the man’s death has yet to be confirmed, Gardai say they have begun an investigation into the matter after they were alerted to the incident on Tuesday morning.
It is believed Gardai were called to the sene at approximatley 11:45am on Tuesday morning after the man’s body was found in a house on St Francis Street in the town.
Gardai say a post mortem examination is due to take place later today at Tullamore Hospital.
