Gardaí in Dublin have launched an investigation this afternoon following a shooting incident in Mulhuddart that left three people seriously injured.
According to reports it is believed that a 29 year old woman, a 17 year old male and a six-month-old baby were all injured in the incident which occurred shortly after midday today.
Gardai say they were called in to investigate the incident which occurred in Parslickstown Green at approximately 12:35pm
It is not yet known what was the motive behind the shooting, but Gardai say all three victims have been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
They also confirmed that one man has been arrested in connection with the incident and he is currently being detained at Blanchardstowm Garda Station.
