Gardai in Dublin have launched an investigation following the attempted abduction of young woman on Tuesday evening.
According to Dublin Live, a young woman aged in her 20s was left deeply shaken after a man tried to lure into a car in the Ballybrack area at approximatley 10:30pm on Tuesday night.
It is alleged that the man who followed the woman down Aran Drive on Aran Avenue, repeatedly asked the young woman to get in his car as she walked home.
However after she resisted, the man decided to stop his car and tried to approach her on foot which prompted the woman to run to her home.
Following the terrifying ordeal the young woman contacted the Gardai after she safely made it inside her home.
Gardai Shankill say they are currently investigating the incident and have appealed to anyone with any information to come forward and contact them.
