Gardaí and Customs officials have revealed they have seized a large quantity of heroin at Dublin Airport.
It is understood the illegal drugs were seized during a routine search.
Gardaí say the drugs worth an estimated €1.1m were hidden in packaging that was labelled as household goods.
It is believed the drugs arrived from Lahore in Pakistan.
