Gardaí and Revenue and Customs in Co Laois have confirmed they have seized 6kg of herbal cannabis in Portlaoise.
In an announcement made this afternoon Gardaí say the illegal drugs worth an estimated €120,000 were seized in Portlaoise Mail Centre.
It is believed the cannabis was concealed in vacuum-packed parcels which came from Spain .
