Gardaí at Kevin Street in Dublin have issued an appeal to the public after an incident at Portobello Harbour in Dublin 8 in the early hours of Sunday morning has left a Galway man in critical condition in hospital.
It’s believed the 23-year-old man who was scheduled to attend the All Ireland Senior Hurling Final was left in critical condition after ge got into difficulty in the canal.
Gardaí say the young man who is currently being treated at St James’s Hospital was separated from his friends when the tragic incident occurred.
