In what is being described as one of the most evil and sinister crimes to make the news in many years, an evil scumbag broke into a 98-yr-old woman’s house screaming and demanding she give him money.
The coward broke into the elderly lady’s house at 9:30pm on Friday evening just as she was beginning to watch the Late Late Show.
Thankfully the lady wasn’t injured in sickening break-in but she was taken to hospital for precaution and was treated for shock.
Gardai say they are currently investigating the incident and they are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area between 9:30pm and 10pm to come forward and contact them at Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000.
