Gardai have issued an appeal in relation to a hit-and-run in which an 87-year-old man was knocked out of his wheelchair and later died from his injuries in hospital. The incident happened on September 30th at Hanlon’s Corner on Dublin’s North Circular Road.
It’s believed a white Mercedes truck failed to stop and was involved in hitting the wheelchair bound man who later died in the Mater Hospital four days later.
Gardai have appealed to the driver of the truck or witnesses with information to contact them at the Bridewell Garda Station on 01-666 8200 or on the confidential line 1800-666-111.
