Gardai are today carrying out a search in relation to the case of Trevor Deely, the 22-year-old man who vanished almost 17 years ago.
Trevor was last seen in the Baggot Street Bridge area in Dublin, walking home from a Christmas party in December 2000. He was never seen or heard from again.
The investigation into Trevor’s disappearance was never closed.
Gardai have informed his family of this latest development.
