Gardaí in Dublin have confirmed that a 31 year old man has been arrested and charged with the murder of his father.
According to RTÉ News, the man named as David Fortune or O’Leary was charged with the murder of his father Gerard Fortune on Sunday evening.
Gerard, aged 63, sadly passed away after he was stabbed outside his home at Rutland Grove in Crumlin, at approximately 8pm on Sunday evening.
RTÉ News say the accused has been remanded in custody until August 28th after he appeared before Dublin District Court this afternoon.
