Gardai in Co Kilkenny have confirmed that four men have been arrested following an attempted robbery at a pub on Thursday night.
According to reports three of the four men were arrested almost immediately after the failed attempt at a premises in Skough, Piltown.
It is believed Gardai arrested the men after they stopped a wine coloured car that fled the scene after the assailants left the pub empty handed.
Gardai also revealed that thankfully no one was seriously injured in the robbery although a struggle with the owner did take place at the premises, they also confirmed that a fourth man was arrested today.
