Gardaí in Co Mayo have confirmed that a man aged in his 20s has been arrested in connection with the death of 21 year old, Joseph Deacy.
Mr Deacy from St Albans, England, was tragically found with head injuries at a house in Gortnasillagh, Swinford, sadly died in hospital on the 13th August 2017.
Gardaí investigating Mr Deacy’s death say the man was arrested earlier today and he is currently being detained at Claremorris Garda station.
