Gardai in Drogheda Co Louth have arrested and charged a man after he was caught performing a lewd act upon himself in front of two teenage girls at a public park in the town last weekend.
According to Drogheda Life.com the disgusting incident happened in the Dominic’s Park area of the town on Sunday June 25th at approximately 6pm.
It is understood the man approached the two 16 year old girl’s who were sitting a mere few feet away from him with his penis fully exposed before he proceeded to sit down in front of them near the river bank and masturbate.
Speaking to the website one of the Girl’s mother said: “They got a fright and got up from where they were sitting and called the Gardaí. He then stood up and began walking towards them with his penis still in full view, they ran to the Garda station.”
It is understood the two girls have since made a statement to the Gardai before giving them a short video they had taken of the man who has since been arrested, and charged.
“I think it’s important for parents and women to be made aware of what happened” the woman, who does not wish to be named.”
“If it wasn’t for the quick thinking of the girls it could have been a lot worse of a situation. I dread to think what might have happened.”
