Gardaí in Dublin have confirmed that a man and a woman both aged in their 50s and 40s respectively have been arrested following the seizure of illegal drugs worth an estimated €1.8m.
The arrests come after Gardai seized €1.68m worth of heroin at a premises on Neilstown Road, at approximately 5pm on Thursday evening.
Gardaí say both individuals were arrested at the scene and Diazepam and Xanax tablets worth an estimated €160,000 were also recovered at the scene.
Both the man and the woman are currently being detained Ronanstown Garda Station.
