Gardaí in Co Mayo have confirmed that two men have been arrested in connection with the death of a 21 year old man in Swinford, last August.
It is understood the arrests come after the man Joseph Deacy of St. Albans in the UK, was found unconscious outside a house at Gortnasillagh on Saturday, August 12th.
Gardaí say following an investigation they have arrested two men both aged in their 20s, in connection with the dean of Mr Deacy.
They say both men are being currently detained two separate Garda stations under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
