Gardai are conducting an investigation, after a 49-year-old man was found with serious head injuries in Cork city last night.
It is understood the man was discovered on Travers St in the city, at 2.40am this morning.
He was rushed to hospital, where his conditions is described as ‘serious’.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
