A 54-year-old reportedly died of injuries sustained during an assault in Co. Waterford last night.
Gardai said that they were called to an altercation in Tramore, Co. Waterford, early this morning. They found a 54-year-old man in an unconscious state.
He was rushed to University Hospital Waterford, where he was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
A man in his 20s was arrested at the scene.
