Gardai in Dublin have confirmed that a man who was found unconscious in a public park in Tallaght this morning has sadly passed away in hospital.
According to Dublin Live, the man who is understood to be aged in his 40s was found in Sean Walsh park at approximatley 8am this morning.
The man who sadly passed away in the last few hours, was quickly rushed to Tallaght Hospital were he remained in critical condition.
However depsite the best efforts of medical personnel at the hospital the man sadly passed away customers the extent of his injuries.
Gardai investigating the incident have confirmed that a forensic examination has taken place in the area the man was found.
They also say they are appealing for witnesses who may have been in the area to come forward and contact them.
