Gardaí have confirmed there was no foul play in regards to the death of a newborn baby girl in North Co Dublin.
The news comes after a post-mortem examination ruled that the baby girl was a full term baby.
In an announcement made this afternoon, Gardai appealed for the baby girl’s mother to come forward and contact them.
The baby girl was tragically found dead at Bell’s Beach in Balbriggan at approximately 10am on Saturday morning.
Gardaí say investigations are currently ongoing and have appealed to anyone with any information to contact them at Balbriggan Garda Station on 01 8020510.
