Gardai conducting the search operation for missing man Trevor Deely have confirmed that an extensive forensic search at a woodland site in Chapelizod, Dublin, has provided no further evidence into Mr Deely’s disappearance.
The detailed operation which lasted just over six weeks began after Gardai confirmed that they obtained new information in relation to the 17 year old case.
Mr Deely who went missing on the 8th of December 2000 after a Christmas party in Dublin has been the subject of a missing persons investigation after he went missing from Baggot Street that night.
Gardaí have previously stated they have new information that leads them to believe that Mr Deely may have been killed by a known criminal.
