Gardaí in Co Kildare have launched an investigation today after a young man was hospitalised after he was attacked by ruthless thugs who broke into his home on Tuesday afternoon.
The young man aged, was allegedly set upon by the intruders in the hallway of his home on Main Street in Celbridge, Co Kildare on Tuesday. Gardaí say the man was brought to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown, Dublin, where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
It is believed the two attackers fled the scene on foot with a small quantity of cash.
