Gardaí in Co Meath have reissued an appeal for anyone who may have witnessed a fatal collision in Oldcastle in the early hours of last Sunday.
A 22-year-old man died instantly in the incident and a 24-year-old is in hospital after the crash which happened at Fennor Upper on the Oldcastle to Virginia Road at around 4am.
Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the crash or to anyone who travelled on the R195, between Oldcastle and Virginia, in the early hours of Sunday, particularly between 3.30am and 4.15am to contact Kells Garda Station or the Garda confidential line.
